*halftone.helpString: Pattern 1 aligns ink giving better grays. Pattern 2 does not align inks for brighter color. Pattern 3 is what Impressario 1.2 used. The Scatter Pattern gives a softer look to the image.

*cartridge.helpString: Select Color for color images and Black & White for grayscale images.
*actionForm.helpString: Select OK to apply settings and exit this menu. Select Apply to apply settings and leave this menu displayed. Cancel exits this menu with no changes.
*generalOptions.helpString: These are general options that control printer settings, message logging, etc.
*raw.helpString: To print HPGL plot file select "None" so the file will be sent directly to the plotter (the Impressario license is not needed when "None" used). Use "Normally" for other file types.
*printerRes.helpString: Higher numbers offer better quality but take longer to print. 600 DPI is only for Black & White use.
*paperSize.helpString: Specify the plot size to generate.
*mediaType.helpString: Plain is any common paper; Special is any paper designed for inkjet use; Glossy are films for photo-like images; Transparencies are clear transparencies.
*rotateplot.helpString: Rotates the plot 90 degrees on the plotter. This can save paper by plotting the long side of the page along the leading edge of the paper roll.
*verbose.helpString: Turns on verbose (debug) logging. Messages are logged to the /var/spool/lp/log file.
*psOptions.helpString: These options apply to files if they are already in PostScript format.
*psOrder.helpString: You can print first page last using Reversed.
*psRange.helpString: Use page range to print selected pages.
*psType.helpString: You can print all Even pages then turn the paper over and put it back in the printer and print Odd pages to get double-sided printing
*imageOptions.helpString: These options apply to image files that contain bit-mapped graphics (i.e. Tiff, Gif, etc.).
*flip.helpString: You might mirror (flip) an image when printing a transparency so you can write on the side that does not have ink while projecting the image.
*rotate.helpString: Best fit will rotate 90 degrees if that provides a larger image. Angles is -360 to 360 degrees (-90 is same as 270, etc.).
*gamma.helpString: Increase to darken the image. Decrease to make it lighter. 1.0 is the default. This also controls darkness for PostScript files that contain images.
*scaling1.helpString: None generates as large an image as possible for the specified paper size.
*colormgt.helpString: You can use this option to turn off color management for image files.
*scaling2.helpString: Match relates image size to printer output. If you scan an image at 100 DPI and set Match to 100 DPI the printed image size will match the size of the scanned image.
*scaling3.helpString: Allows you to specify the image size as a percent of the page size.
*textOptions.helpString: These options apply to text files.
*processAs.helpString: To turn on the format options seen below select Yes. To ignore them, select No.
*fonts.helpString: You can select from these fonts and font sizes for text printing. Font size units are in points (72 points per inch).
*gaudy.helpString: Adds a header to each page. Header includes a page number, date and time and file name.
*orientation.helpString: Portrait is long edge of paper in vertical orientation (portraits often painted this way). Landscape is long edge in horizontal orientation (landscapes often painted this way).
*columns.helpString: Set the number of columns to print. If font size is too large may 'clip' text if 2 columns are used.
